This Custom Shop version of the Mayfield model is a one-off made in the German facility for a Framus endorsee. There will never be another exactly the same! Thinline double cutaway hollow body with arched top. Top and back crafted from laminated AAA grade Flame Maple with solid AAA grade Flame Maple sides. Fully bound body and f-holes. Flame Maple neck with Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard inlaid with custom designed markers in pearl. Flame Maple headstock veneer and locking tuners. Scale length 24.75" with 22 jumbo frets. Chrome hardware throughout. Tune-o-matic roller bridge with Bigsby B7 vibrato. Two Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro (APH-1) humbuckers with, uniquely, two coil splits on the control knobs. Three-way pick-up selector and volume and tone controls. With hard case, Framus Custom Shop certificate and all the case candy as well, including the nice and very comprehensive, Framus User-kit. This is a truly striking guitar. Forget what you thought you knew about the oldtime Framus budget guitars; this has nothing to do with them and is superb in every way. The Custom Shop upgrade of the coil splits doubles the tonal range available and makes this a truly exceptional guitar which is in very fine condition.
