This is one of Patrick's early 'flat top' guitars made while he was still in the USA. Sitka Spruce top. Superbly figured old-growth quarter-sawn Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Lovely Flame Maple body binding with Abalone purfling. Abalone backstrip. Abalone rosette. Teardrop tortoiseshell scratchplate. Ebony bridge with bone saddle and Ebony bridge pins with pearl dots. Mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard inlaid with pearl split diamond markers. Flame Maple binding to the fingerboard and headstock. 1 3/4" wide bone nut. Gold-plated Waverley tuners with gold-plated butterbean knobs. With LR Baggs iBeam Active pick-up installed. With Cedar Creek hard case. This delighful Patrick James Eggle Linville Cutaway offers exactly the rich but defined tone you would expect from a very fine piece of Brazilian Rosewood.
