2000 Everett Model A Laurel Series Electro, Natural SOLD

In addition to his usual entirely USA made guitars, between 2000 and 2003, Kent Everett started offering a guitar that was built in concert with the famed Terada Factory in Japan; the Laurel Series. Each Laurel was sent to the Everett Workshop in Atlanta where it was completed. 128 Laurels were built over a 3 year period, just 20 of them being the A model and this is number 10 of these remarkable guitars. This is a solid Sitka Spruce topped guitar with laminated Rosewood back and sides. Suspend your prejudices and beliefs about laminated back and sides; this is amazing in tone! Flame Maple body binding. Multi-wood purfling and rosette. Teardrop tortoise style scratchplate. Rosewood bridge with bone saddle. 1 11/16" nut width. Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard with no marker dots. Rosewood headplate with enclosed chrome tuners made in Japan. With a high-end active Fishman pick-up system installed. With lightweight semi-hard case. This 17 year-old guitar is remarkable in its attractive tonal qualities. It is also in excellent condition. Lovely. SOLD
